The coziness of the Tolhuissluis, which connects the Amstel to the Drecht and the Aar canal, in combination with the tranquility of the polder at the rear, provide an unforgettable experience.
Upon arrival, the soft towels made of organic cotton are already waiting for you on the fresh linen bedding. The bathrobes are ready and with a bit of luck you can smell the freshly baked apple pie from the adjacent tea garden.
In the morning you can enjoy an extensive home-made breakfast with many local products in the breakfast room (originally the lock waiting room), or in nice weather in the garden.
There is plenty to do in our beautiful surroundings, but if you want to linger around the B&B, you can enjoy our spacious garden with fantastic views of the meadows or watch the guns of the boats in the lock. You can take a cup of coffee or tea from the breakfast room.
In the evening you can enjoy a nice meal at one of the restaurants in the area…
